The towns of Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Prescott, together comprise what is locally known as the "Tri-City" area. Population of the Tri-City area in 2007 is estimated to be about 122,000 -- making it the 3rd largest metro area in Arizona behind Phoenix and Tucson.
